COPIO is an implementing partner in-charge of Kintampo South District was mandated under the PRODESOP project (Promoting Access of Indigenous People to Decent Work and Social Protection in the Bono East Area) is to safeguard the vulnerable groups within the coverage area and ensure their inclusion and empowerment in the project and beyond.

The project has created 1,200 jobs for the youth, women and PWDs and men within the participating areas. Beneficiaries have generated incomes to improve the living conditions and we also ensure that 1,200 persons acquired requisite skills in ginger and fish production. 2,400 persons have been signed unto National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and 600 persons signed onto Pension schemes by 2022.
